AtmosFunded sells forex evaluations and instant accounts on MT5 through two companies. Atmos Global Ltd., registered in the Union of the Comoros (company number HT00525042), owns and operates the website and the simulated trading, while AtmosFunded Ltd. in Nicosia, Cyprus (HE471627), handles educational products, challenge programs and payment-related services. Its restricted jurisdictions include the USA, so check that you're eligible before reading further.
The lineup is wide: 1-Step Standard, 1-Step Plus, 2-Step Standard, 2-Step Plus, Instant Funding and Nova, a one-step challenge that costs $5 to start with a fee due after you pass. What sets it apart is how the drawdown behaves around payouts. On 1-Step Standard and Instant Funding, the stop-out locks at the initial balance once you request a payout, which leaves no cushion if you withdraw all your profit.
Pros and cons
Pros
- 2-Step Standard and 2-Step Plus use a static drawdown, with no consistency rule and no activation fee.
- 1-Step Plus has no daily loss limit, and its sizes go up to $150,000.
- Payouts run every 14 days on five programs, the first payout on 2-Step Plus is on demand, and Nova pays on demand.
- Nova has no consistency rule in either the challenge or the funded phase, and no minimum days in the challenge.
- Leverage is published per asset class and is the same on every program: 1:50 forex, 1:15 metals, 1:10 indices, 1:2 crypto.
- Both companies behind the firm are named, with company numbers and addresses.
Cons
- The firm's help center says that once you request a payout on 1-Step Standard, "the drawdown is fixed permanently at the initial balance level", so withdrawing all your profit leaves no buffer above the breach level. Instant Funding applies the same lock.
- Restricted jurisdictions include the USA.
- The profit split isn't published per program: the site says up to 90%, with no starting percentage stated.
- Funded consistency rules apply on 1-Step Plus (45%) and Instant Funding (20%), and 1-Step Plus adds an activation fee of $65 or $125.
- Breached accounts are closed and any profits in them are forfeited, and the weekend holding and evaluation-phase news rules aren't clearly published.

Who AtmosFunded suits
AtmosFunded suits a forex trader outside the US who uses MT5 and wants to choose a challenge format and pay one-time fees rather than a subscription. You can take a one-step or two-step evaluation, skip the evaluation with Instant Funding, or start Nova for $5.
If you want a loss floor that never moves, look at the two-step programs, which use static drawdowns. 1-Step Standard, 1-Step Plus and Instant Funding trail, and two of them lock at the initial balance on payout, which changes how much profit you can safely take out.
It isn't an option for US residents, since the USA is on the restricted list. It's also a weak fit if you need weekend holding confirmed before you buy, because that rule isn't clearly published.
How the drawdown works on a $100,000 account
Start with a $100,000 2-Step Standard account. Phase 1 asks for $10,000 and Phase 2 for $5,000, with a $5,000 daily loss limit (5%) and a $10,000 maximum drawdown (10%). The drawdown is static, so your floor is $90,000 from the first trade to the last. You need 3 trading days in each phase.
1-Step Standard on the same size asks for $10,000 in one step, with a $3,000 daily limit (3%) and a $6,000 trailing drawdown (6%). Your floor starts at $94,000 and moves up as the account grows until it reaches the initial balance of $100,000, where it locks. A day counts toward the 3-day minimum when it makes at least 0.5%, or $500.
1-Step Plus is tighter on total loss but looser day to day. There's no daily loss limit, but the trailing drawdown is only 3%, or $3,000 on a $100,000 account, against a 6% target of $6,000. It also locks at the initial balance.
The biggest trap is what happens to the trailing accounts when you ask for your money. That payout lock is explained in the rules and risks section below, with the firm's own example.
What AtmosFunded really costs
Every program is a one-time fee, but the headline price isn't always the full cost. 1-Step Plus charges an activation fee of $65 on the $10,000 and $25,000 accounts and $125 on the $50,000, $100,000 and $150,000 accounts. A $100,000 1-Step Plus therefore costs $149 plus $125, or $274, against $383 for a $100,000 1-Step Standard with no activation fee.
1-Step Standard, 2-Step Standard and 2-Step Plus list no activation fee. Instant Funding's activation fee isn't clearly published, so check it at checkout.
Nova splits the payment. You pay $5 to start, and after passing you pay a one-time fee to get the funded account. The Nova page shows that fee only for its default size, so the fee for the size you want isn't clearly published.
Payouts and profit split
Payouts run on a 14-day cycle on every program except Nova, which pays on demand. On 1-Step Standard the cycle starts after funding and the minimum payout is $100. 2-Step Plus lets you take your first payout on demand before the 14-day cycle applies. The firm says payouts are processed in 2 to 5 business days after approval, and it offers payout transfers to a Taurex live account.
The profit split is the weak spot in the published information. The site advertises up to 90%, and 1-Step Standard describes a standard split that rises to 90% with scaling, but no program states its starting percentage. Ask support for the split on your program before you buy.
Scaling information also conflicts. The help center gives Instant Funding a maximum allocation of $200,000, while the site says "Scale to $400K" across its pages.
Rules and risks that catch traders out
The payout lock on 1-Step Standard comes first. The firm's help center says that when you request a payout, "the drawdown is fixed permanently at the initial balance level (e.g., $100,000)", and that "even if you leave $105,000 in the account, your stop-out remains at $100,000". If your funded $100,000 account reaches $105,000 and you withdraw the full $5,000, you're back at $100,000 with no buffer above the breach level.
Instant Funding works the same way: its drawdown "locks at initial balance + payout", and the firm's pricing data lists "ddLockOnPayout: Yes". 1-Step Plus uses different wording, "resets on payout", which the pages checked don't explain. On 1-Step Standard and Instant Funding, every dollar you withdraw comes straight out of your buffer, so decide how much profit to leave in before you request a payout.
Consistency rules apply once funded on two programs: 45% on 1-Step Plus and 20% on Instant Funding. Only the percentage is published in the pages checked, so ask how it's measured before you trade.
On funded accounts you can't open or close trades on instruments affected by a high-impact news event within 2 minutes before or after it, but the news rule during the evaluation and the weekend holding rule aren't clearly published. Commercial EAs are strictly prohibited, other EAs must reflect your own strategies and decisions, and a breached account is closed with any profits in it forfeited.
Which AtmosFunded program fits which trader
2-Step Standard is the conventional pick: 10% and 5% targets, a 5% daily limit, a static 10% drawdown, and no consistency rule or activation fee. 2-Step Plus is the tighter version, with 6% targets in both phases, a 3% daily limit and a static 6% drawdown, plus a first payout on demand.
1-Step Standard suits a trader who wants one step and can make 10% inside a 3% daily limit and a 6% trailing drawdown. 1-Step Plus lowers the target to 6% and drops the daily limit, but the 3% trailing drawdown leaves little room, and you pay an activation fee and face a 45% consistency rule once funded.
Instant Funding skips the evaluation, with no target and no minimum days, but combines a 3% daily limit, a 5% trailing drawdown, the payout lock and a 20% consistency rule. Nova asks for 5% with a 4% daily limit and an 8% maximum drawdown and has no consistency rule, but its drawdown method and the fee for your size after passing aren't clearly published.
Verdict
AtmosFunded fits a forex trader outside the US who uses MT5 and wants several formats with clearly published leverage. Its two-step programs are the easiest to plan around, with static drawdowns and no activation fee or consistency rule. Be careful with 1-Step Standard and Instant Funding if you plan to withdraw often, because the stop-out locks at the initial balance on payout and a full withdrawal leaves no buffer. The USA is on its restricted list, so US residents should look elsewhere, and anyone who needs a stated profit split per program or a clear weekend rule should get those answers first.

The USA is on AtmosFunded’s list of restricted jurisdictions, so the firm isn’t an option for US residents.
What happens to the AtmosFunded drawdown when you request a payout?
On 1-Step Standard, the firm’s help center says the drawdown “is fixed permanently at the initial balance level” when you request a payout, and that even if you leave $105,000 in a $100,000 account, the stop-out stays at $100,000. Withdrawing all your profit therefore leaves no buffer above the breach level. Instant Funding’s drawdown locks the same way on payout.
