Funded Trader Markets sells simulated trading accounts in USD for a one-time fee; the firm states it is not a broker and names Formed Technologies INT FZCO (UAE) as the contracting entity. This Funded Trader Markets review uses the official pages as checked on October 5, 2026. The priced range is 1 Step Nitro ($5K to $200K), a separate 1 Step Nitro 300K row, 2 Step Plus and three Instant accounts (Standard, Pro, Plus). The FAQ also gives the rules of 1 Step Nitro X without a price.

Entry prices are $80 for a $5K Nitro, $52 for a $5K Instant Standard and $43 for a $5K Instant Pro; a $100K Nitro costs $622 against $997.50 for 2 Step Plus. Weekend holding is allowed, accounts are swap free and rewards are on demand from 1% of the initial balance. The drawdown is what varies: a 6% trailing lock on Nitro, a static 10% on 2 Step Plus, and 5%, 3% and 6% trailing limits on Instant.

Highlights and good to know

Highlights

  • 1 Step Nitro has a 10% target, no time limit, no minimum trading days in the challenge and no activation fee, from $80 for $5K to $1,096 for $200K.
  • 2 Step Plus keeps a static 10% drawdown with a 4% daily limit and no consistency rule in either stage, from $100 for $5K.
  • Overnight and weekend holding is allowed in every program, accounts are swap free, and the per-lot fee is $7 on forex and commodities and nothing on indices and crypto.
  • Funded Nitro pays 90% of the first $10,000 of profit and 80% after that, and Instant Plus starts at an 80% split.
  • Rewards are on demand from 1% of the initial balance, with processing stated at 24 business hours through USDT (TRC20) or Rise.
  • Instant gives three drawdown shapes: Pro at $43 for $5K with a 3% trailing limit, Standard at $52 with 5%, and Plus at $62 with a 6% limit that locks at the starting balance once profit reaches 6%.
  • EAs (except the listed types), news trading (not news scalping) and trade copiers on your own trades are permitted; the platforms are cTrader, TradeLocker, Match-Trader and MetaTrader 5.

Good to know

  • The daily stop-out level is set at 5 PM EST from the higher of balance or equity, and a limit is breached when balance or equity reaches it.
  • Instant Standard and Pro rewards are full withdrawals; partial withdrawals are not allowed there, and a free account of the same size with a reset drawdown follows.
  • Where the 2 Step Plus card text (80%, 3% and 8%) differs from the rules pages, FAQ and comparison table (70%, 4% and a static 10%), the latter are used here; likewise the Instant Pro card (no daily limit) against its table and FAQ (3%).
  • The account fee is covered by the Refund Policy page (a 14-day window, subject to its listed conditions such as trading having started), the Terms (4.G) and the FAQ; read them before buying. A performance bonus equal to the purchase fee comes with the 3rd reward on evaluations.
  • Applicants must be 18 or older and outside twelve restricted countries (Cuba, Syria, Iran, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, North Korea, Cyprus, Myanmar, Belarus, Vietnam, Russia); KYC needs an ID and proof of address, and funded accounts stay read-only until it is complete.
  • One trader per household and IP address is allowed (the IP-rules FAQ adds that more than one trader in a household must tell the verification team before trading); a VPN is permitted on the trading platform if its IP is outside the restricted countries (and, on MetaTrader 5 and cTrader, outside the United States), but not for purchase, KYC or dashboard access. An account with no activity for 30 consecutive calendar days can be terminated; exceptions may be granted for planned absences notified in advance.

Why Nitro 300K is a separate row

The program data and an FAQ note set the Nitro daily loss limit at 4% of the initial balance from $5K to $200K and at 3% on the $300K account, so it gets its own row here. The rest matches Nitro: a 10% target ($30,000 on $300K), a 6% overall limit ($18,000), no time limit, no activation fee. The $1,622 list price is $526 above the $200K account at $1,096.

The percentages change the proportions. On $200K a day can use $8,000 of $12,000 overall room, two-thirds; on $300K it can use $9,000 of $18,000, one-half. The challenge consistency rule scales with the target: no day above 50% of it, $15,000 on $300K. Funded leverage at 200K and 300K is 1:50 on forex and 1:10 on commodities, against 1:100 and 1:20 up to $100K, and the $300,000 Nitro allocation is shared across all sizes, so one $300K account fills it.

Nitro's trailing lock, day by day on $100,000

A $100K Nitro account ($622) starts with an overall floor of $94,000, 6% below the start. The floor follows the highest recorded balance and does not reset at 5 PM EST: after a peak of $105,000 it sits at $99,000. At $106,000, up 6%, it is fixed at $100,000.

The daily limit runs alongside. At 5 PM EST the firm takes the higher of balance and equity and subtracts 4% of the initial balance, $4,000 here. A balance of $105,000 with equity of $104,200 gives a stop-out of $101,000, above the $99,000 floor, so the daily line is the nearer one. Open profit counts: in the firm's example, $106,000 equity against a $101,000 balance sets a $102,000 stop-out above the balance.

In the firm's funded-account example at 6% profit, a full $6,000 withdrawal returns the balance to $100,000, level with the fixed floor, leaving $0 of room (counted as a breach); a $4,000 withdrawal leaves $2,000.

Instant Standard, Pro and Plus: three drawdowns, three prices

The Instant accounts share a 3% daily limit, no evaluation, no activation fee and 1:100 forex leverage; the overall limit differs. On $100K, Standard ($723) trails the highest balance by 5% ($5,000), Pro ($600) by 3% ($3,000) and Plus ($884) by 6% ($6,000); only Plus fixes the floor at the starting balance once profit reaches 6%. That is about 14, 20 and 15 cents of price per dollar of drawdown room.

Standard and Pro pay 50% on the first reward, then 60%, 70% and 80% from the fourth. Plus starts at 80% under the Shield Risk Protocol, a 1% floating loss cap ($1,000 on $100K): each breach closes positions and moves the trader's share to 50%, 40%, 30% and finally 20%.

A first payout needs 5 trading days of at least 0.5% profit each, and no day may exceed 15% of total profit, so evenly spread profit needs at least seven days (six equal days put each at 16.7%). On $100K Standard, seven days of $500 give $3,500 with the best day at 14.3%, and a first reward at 50% would be $1,750.

Holding, hedging, partial closes: what the rule list says

Overnight and weekend holding is allowed in every program. Hedging is allowed inside one account, not across accounts, and hedged positions cannot be held overnight on Instant and funded accounts; their profit does not count toward a reward. Martingale and layering are allowed within one account; across accounts, same-instrument entries must fall within 5 minutes of each other or follow a full close.

Partial closes are allowed: once part of a position closes, the remainder must close that trading day, and entries within 15 minutes on one instrument count as one. Profit from trades closed under 1 minute is voided on funded accounts; in a challenge, more than 20% of profit from such trades means a redo, measured on 2 Step Plus against the combined target, which is $2,600 of $13,000 on $100K. Opening within 5 minutes before rollover and closing within 5 minutes after it is not permitted.

News trading is allowed, news scalping is not. EAs are allowed except listed types such as HFT, news scalping, arbitrage and tick scalping bots, and copying covers your own trades. Margin call is at 110% and stop-out at 100%, without breaching the account. Forex and commodities carry a $7 per lot round-turn fee and indices and crypto none; swaps are zero.

2 Step Plus and Nitro X: a static floor or a 3% floor

2 Step Plus asks for 8% then 5%, with a static 10% overall limit, a 4% daily limit, no time limit, 3 trading days per phase and no consistency rule. On $100K that is targets of $8,000 and $5,000, a $90,000 floor and a $4,000 daily limit, at $997.50 against $622 for Nitro, a $375.50 gap.

Funded 2 Step Plus pays 70%, or 90% through a no-fee checkout add-on. The funded stage has a 1% floating loss limit that steps the split down after a breach; the 90% add-on also applies it in the evaluation, where a first breach is soft and a second fails it.

Nitro X sits at the other end: a 6% target, a 3% daily limit and a 3% overall limit that fixes at the start balance once profit reaches 3%. Funded accounts pay 100% of what is withdrawn, 50% of total profits stays in the account as a buffer, each request is capped at $5,000 and no day may exceed 25% of total profit; $10,000 of profit on $100K allows $5,000. The price and the amount of the activation fee payable after a pass are not published.

From request to wallet: how rewards are paid

Rewards are on demand on Nitro, 2 Step Plus and Instant accounts once the criteria are met: 1% of the initial balance before the split ($1,000 on $100K), 5 trading days of at least 0.5% profit each and the account's consistency rule; Nitro X asks for at least 3% profit before a request. Trades are closed first, and the firm states processing within 24 business hours. Funded Nitro pays 90% of the first $10,000 of profit and 80% after; the Terms (4.I.1) count the $10,000 across all of a trader's evaluation funded accounts on one registered email.

On a $100K Nitro with $12,000 of profit that is $9,000 plus $1,600, or $10,600. Payment goes by USDT (TRC20) or Rise, and a 5% fee on crypto requests comes out of the trader's share, $530 on that total. Evaluation accounts add a bonus equal to the purchase fee with the 3rd reward ($622 on a $100K Nitro); Instant and Nitro X are excluded.

Verdict

Funded Trader Markets fits a trader who wants to choose the drawdown shape: a 6% trailing lock on Nitro, a static 10% with no consistency rule on 2 Step Plus, or no evaluation on the Instant tiers from $43. Weekend holding, news trading and EAs are permitted, and rewards are on demand. The 300K row suits a $30,000 target with a 3% daily line; Instant Plus pairs a 6% floor with an 80% starting split.

Frequently asked questions

What is the daily loss limit on Funded Trader Markets Nitro accounts?

It is 4% of the initial balance on Nitro sizes from $5K to $200K and 3% on the $300K account. At 5 PM EST the firm subtracts that share of the initial balance from the higher of balance or equity to set the stop-out level. On a $100K Nitro that is $4,000.

Can you hold trades over the weekend at Funded Trader Markets?

Yes, overnight and weekend holding is allowed in all programs. Hedging inside one account is allowed, but hedged positions cannot be held overnight on Instant and funded accounts, and their profit does not count toward a reward.

How much do Funded Trader Markets Instant accounts cost?

Instant accounts are one-time fees with no activation fee. Standard runs from $52 for $5K to $723 for $100K, Pro from $43 to $600 and Plus from $62 to $884. Their overall limits are 5%, 3% and 6%, with a 3% daily limit on all three.

How do payouts work at Funded Trader Markets?

Rewards are on demand once the account has 5 trading days of at least 0.5% profit each (Nitro, 2 Step Plus and Instant) and the request is at least 1% of the initial balance before the split; Nitro X needs at least 3% profit before a request. Trades are closed first, processing is stated at 24 business hours, and USDT (TRC20) or Rise carry the payment. Crypto requests bear a 5% fee.

Which trading platforms does Funded Trader Markets offer?

The FAQ lists cTrader, TradeLocker, Match-Trader and MetaTrader 5. The firm’s copier is not available on TradeLocker accounts. cTrader and MetaTrader 5 are not intended for US residents, and US-origin IPs may not use them; the pages are silent on TradeLocker and Match-Trader for US residents.
