Alpha Capital Group is run by ALPHA CAPITAL GROUP LIMITED (company number 13719951), which gives a registered office in Harpenden, England, in its homepage footer. It sells forex evaluations on MetaTrader 5, cTrader and TradeLocker, covering forex, metals, indices and commodities. The lineup is the two-step Alpha Pro in 6%, 8% and 10% versions, the two-step Alpha Swing and the one-step Alpha One.
Two things set the model apart. On Alpha Pro you choose how much drawdown you get, and on the 6% and 8% versions the payout schedule you pick at checkout, On-Demand or Bi-Weekly, also sets the base price. Every program uses a static drawdown except Alpha One, which trails. The terms also contain clauses on public criticism and legal costs that you should read first, covered in detail below.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Alpha Pro and Alpha Swing use a static maximum drawdown, so the loss floor doesn't rise as you make money.
- Alpha Pro comes in three risk levels (6%, 8% and 10% maximum drawdown), each with its own daily limit and up to 1:100 leverage.
- Alpha One needs only 1 minimum trading day and pays out On-Demand.
- The Profit Split add-on raises the split from 80% to 90% on Alpha Pro and Alpha One.
- During the evaluation phases, news trading is permitted without restriction and weekend holding is allowed.
- Funded accounts on Alpha Pro and Alpha Swing can scale after 10% growth, up to $2 million cumulative.
Cons
- Trustpilot currently shows a notice on the firm's page: "This company's rating is unavailable due to a breach of our guidelines." The page also says: "We've removed a number of fake reviews for this company."
- Terms clause 27.1 bars you from public statements, including on social media, "that could be construed as negative". Alpha alone decides whether you breached it, and it may terminate your access.
- Terms clause 27.2 makes you liable for all of Alpha's legal costs in any legal proceedings it engages in or defends, "regardless of the outcome".
- Prices were read from checkout data, not from text shown on the page, and the final price is computed at checkout. Consistency rules and activation fees aren't documented.
- Weekend holding becomes restricted on funded Alpha Pro accounts, and a Focused Trader Group clause can cut leverage and lot exposure for certain trading styles.

Who Alpha Capital Group suits
Alpha Capital Group suits forex traders who like a classic two-step evaluation with a fixed loss floor and want to choose how much room they get. Alpha Pro 6% is the tightest version, Alpha Pro 10% the widest, and all three need 3 trading days per step.
Swing traders get a dedicated program. Alpha Swing keeps a static 10% drawdown and still allows weekend holding once you reach the funded stage, which the firm calls Qualified Analyst. The trade-off is leverage: up to 1:30, against up to 1:100 on Alpha Pro.
It's a weaker fit if you want certainty about the price and every rule before paying, or if you expect to talk publicly about your experience with the firm. Both issues are explained below, and the terms deserve a careful read before you buy.
How the drawdown and daily loss rules work
Take a $100,000 Alpha Pro 8% account. Step 1 asks for $8,000 of profit and Step 2 for $5,000. You can lose $4,000 in a day (4%) and $8,000 in total (8%). Because the drawdown is static, your floor sits at $92,000 and stays there however much you make.
The other versions follow the same logic with different numbers. Alpha Pro 6% on $100,000 gives you $3,000 a day and $6,000 in total, against a $6,000 target in each step. Alpha Pro 10% and Alpha Swing allow 5% a day and 10% in total, against a 10% target in Step 1 and 5% in Step 2.
How the daily limit is measured isn't clear on Alpha Pro. The terms table lists both 'Highest equity or balance' and 'Balance-based' across its columns, so which method applies to each Pro version couldn't be confirmed. Alpha Swing's daily limit is described as balance-based.
Alpha One works differently. On $100,000 you need $10,000 in a single step, with a $4,000 daily limit measured against the highest equity or balance and a 6% trailing drawdown. That floor starts at $94,000 but follows your gains upward, so a run to $105,000 followed by a pullback costs you room a static account would keep. The pages checked don't say whether the trail ever stops.
Real cost, payouts and profit split
Every plan in the checkout catalog is a one-time fee. The prices in the table above were read from the checkout catalog built into the homepage rather than from text displayed on the page, and the firm's backend computes the final price at checkout. Treat them as a guide, not a quote.
The payout schedule moves the price. The homepage says the schedule "sets when you can request rewards and the base plan price", and the table shows the On-Demand price for Alpha Pro, so Bi-Weekly is priced differently. Activation fees aren't documented, and Alpha Pro 10% has no confirmed sizes or prices: its catalog entries are unpublished and checkout derives it from the Pro 8% plans.
Add-ons change the total too. The Profit Split add-on costs 10% more on the On-Demand price and lifts your split from 80% to 90% on Alpha Pro and Alpha One, a Swap Free add-on adds about 10%, and checkout also has an EA Use option. Use the code shown above, then check the final figure before you pay.
Alpha Pro 6% and 8% let you choose On-Demand or Bi-Weekly payouts, and Alpha One is On-Demand only. Alpha Swing lists an 80% split, and neither its payout schedule nor Alpha Pro 10%'s is clearly published. Once funded, 10% growth lets you scale Alpha Pro or Alpha Swing up to $2 million cumulative; Alpha One isn't named in that scaling rule.
Rules that change after you pass
The evaluation is looser than the funded stage. While you're being evaluated, news trading is permitted without restriction and weekend holding is allowed. As a Qualified Analyst, you must follow the execution rules for your account type, which "may include restricted time windows before and after news releases".
Weekend holding also changes after you pass. It becomes restricted on Alpha Pro, but stays allowed on Alpha One and Alpha Swing, where swap fees may apply. If you hold positions for days, that single rule may decide your program.
Terms clause 3.5 sets up a Focused Trader Group. For styles such as extreme scalping, 'all or nothing' risk, gambling through high-impact news or 'account rolling', Alpha can cut leverage and lot exposure and may add a 30-day service pause.
EA rules are only partly clear. The terms say Expert Advisors are disabled on Alpha Direct accounts, checkout offers an EA Use option, and copy trading is only allowed from your own external account into your Alpha account. EA rules for the other plans couldn't be confirmed, and the terms and help center describe plans, such as Alpha Three and Alpha Direct, whose availability couldn't be confirmed in checkout.
What the terms and Trustpilot say
Trustpilot currently shows a notice on the firm's page that reads: "This company's rating is unavailable due to a breach of our guidelines." The same page states: "We've removed a number of fake reviews for this company." Keep both in mind when you weigh reviews of the firm.
Clause 27.1 of the terms is a non-disparagement clause. You agree "not to disparage or denigrate Alpha in any manner", including "any form of public statement… on any social media platforms… that could be construed as negative". Alpha may terminate your access, and whether a breach occurred "is to be made by Alpha exclusively and shall be final and binding".
Clause 27.2 covers legal costs. In any dispute where Alpha engages in or defends legal proceedings, "the User shall be liable for all legal costs, expenses, and disbursements incurred by Alpha… regardless of the outcome of such proceedings." In plain terms, the terms put Alpha's legal bill on you even if you win.
Two different Harpenden addresses also appear: 1 Allied Business Centre, Coldharbour Lane, in the homepage footer, and 6-7 Waterside Station Road in the notices section of the terms. If you ever need to send a formal notice, ask which one to use.
Which Alpha program fits which trader
Alpha Pro 6% suits a careful trader who keeps losses small: 3% a day, 6% in total, and a 6% target in each step. Alpha Pro 8% adds room in exchange for a higher Step 1 target, with Step 2 dropping to 5%.
Alpha Pro 10% shares the widest limits in the lineup with Alpha Swing and keeps up to 1:100 leverage, but its account sizes and prices couldn't be confirmed, so check that checkout offers the size you want. Its payout schedule isn't clearly published either.
Alpha Swing is the pick if you want to hold over weekends as a funded trader and can accept 1:30 leverage and an 80% split. Alpha One suits a trader who wants a single step, 1 minimum day and On-Demand payouts, and who is comfortable with a trailing 6% drawdown.
Verdict
Alpha Capital Group is a reasonable fit for a forex trader who wants a static drawdown, a choice of risk levels on Alpha Pro and the option to pay for a 90% split. Alpha Swing covers funded traders who hold over weekends, and Alpha One covers those who want a single step. Look elsewhere if you want prices you can read on the page, documented activation and consistency terms, or terms that don't restrict public criticism and put Alpha's legal costs on you regardless of the outcome. Weigh the Trustpilot notice about a guidelines breach and removed fake reviews before you pay.

Frequently asked questions
Is Alpha Capital Group legit?
It publishes a named company, ALPHA CAPITAL GROUP LIMITED (company number 13719951), with a registered office in Harpenden, England. Trustpilot currently shows a notice on its page: “This company’s rating is unavailable due to a breach of our guidelines,” and says it has removed a number of fake reviews for the company. Its terms also bar public statements that could be construed as negative (clause 27.1) and make you liable for Alpha’s legal costs in legal proceedings regardless of the outcome (clause 27.2).
Is Alpha Capital Group drawdown static or trailing?
Static on Alpha Pro (6%, 8% or 10%) and Alpha Swing (10%), so the floor doesn’t move as you profit. Alpha One uses a 6% trailing drawdown that moves up behind your gains.
What is the Alpha Capital Group daily loss limit?
It’s 3% on Alpha Pro 6%, 4% on Alpha Pro 8% and Alpha One, and 5% on Alpha Pro 10% and Alpha Swing. Alpha Swing’s limit is balance-based and Alpha One’s uses the highest equity or balance. The terms table lists both methods for Alpha Pro, so confirm which one applies to your version.
Can you hold trades over the weekend with Alpha Capital Group?
Yes, during the evaluation phases. Once funded, weekend holding is restricted on Alpha Pro and allowed on Alpha One and Alpha Swing, where swap fees may apply.
What profit split does Alpha Capital Group pay?
80% as standard. On Alpha Pro and Alpha One you can buy the Profit Split add-on, which costs 10% more on the On-Demand price and raises the split to 90%. Alpha Swing lists 80%.
Does Alpha Capital Group allow EAs?
The terms say EAs are disabled on Alpha Direct accounts, and checkout offers an EA Use option. EA rules for the other plans couldn’t be confirmed, so ask support before running one. Copy trading is only allowed from your own external account into your Alpha account.
