Finotive Funding is the trading name of a company registered in the Dubai International Financial Centre (company number 11088), run as a proprietary evaluation and reward service rather than a brokerage. It sells six forex programs, with MT5 and Match-Trader access, as one-time USD fees: the 1-Step and 2-Step Challenges (seven sizes, $2,500 to $200,000), Instant Funding Standard and Lite (six sizes, $2,500 to $100,000) and 1-Step Pro and 2-Step Pro (three sizes, $50,000 to $200,000). Every account is simulated, and rewards are contractual payments based on simulated profits.
Maximum drawdown is static on every program, from 6% on Instant Lite to 10% on 2-Step Pro, and daily limits run from 3% to 5%. Funded splits start at 70% on Lite, 75% on Standard and 80% on Challenge and Pro, and Pro reaches 100% after 30 funded days while Pro status is kept. Reward requests repeat every 7 days, or every 14 on Instant Lite.
Highlights and good to know
Highlights
- Maximum drawdown is static on all six programs and measured from the initial balance: 7.5% on 1-Step, 9% on 2-Step, 7% on Instant Standard, 6% on Instant Lite, 8% on 1-Step Pro and 10% on 2-Step Pro.
- The 2-Step Challenge starts at $25 for $2,500 and costs $895 for the $200,000 size against $1,160 on 1-Step, a $265 gap.
- Challenge and Pro fees are refunded automatically to the original payment method when the funded account is in net profit on day 30 after funded status, whether or not a reward was requested.
- Pro-Funded accounts start at an 80% split that rises to 100% after 30 funded days while Pro status is kept, and add a salary of 1% of purchased capital per rolling 30 days.
- Instant Funding Standard has no Minimum Profitable Days: the first reward request opens on demand once the account holds eligible simulated profits.
- News trading is permitted on every account when the trade expresses a genuine directional view; the news rule covers straddled, offsetting or hedged exposure within 15 minutes before or after Red or Amber, earnings or geopolitical events when its purpose is to capture volatility.
- Challenge and Pro accounts carry no weekend-holding rule, EAs can be used when the trader develops, owns and controls them, and a copier can copy the trader's own trades between the trader's own accounts.
Good to know
- A separate cap sets total open notional exposure at 5,000% of the account at $2,500 down to 1,000% at $200,000 (for example $1,250,000 on $100,000). A breach is an immediate Strike, and in a Challenge phase it also means an Account Reset.
- Moving to funded status is requested in the Dashboard after the target, the Minimum Profitable Days and closed positions are in place, and Finotive may review the account for compliance before granting it.
- Instant Funding accounts close non-crypto positions before the Friday market close at 17:00 New York Time unless the Weekend Holding Add-On is active.
- Per trader, the Terms cap purchased capital and scaled allocation at $600,000 and $2,040,000 for Challenge accounts and for Pro accounts, and at $200,000 and $680,000 for Instant Standard and for Instant Lite.
- An account can be closed after 30 consecutive calendar days without a trade, the minimum age is 18, and the Terms list 15 jurisdictions where the service is not offered.
- During Challenge and Pro evaluation phases, findings under warning-based and conditional rules may be included in the Challenge Phase Progression Report rather than issued as real-time alerts.

Challenge, Instant and Pro: how the six programs are priced and staged
The Challenge family asks for 10% in one phase (1-Step) or 7.5% then 5% (2-Step), and Pro repeats those targets. Instant accounts have no challenge phase or target and are funded at purchase. Each Challenge and Pro evaluation leads to its own funded stage.
List prices at $100,000 are $580 (1-Step), $555 (2-Step), $914 (1-Step Pro), $744 (2-Step Pro), $1,199 (Instant Lite) and $2,699 (Instant Standard). The 2-Step costs less than the 1-Step at four sizes, the same at $10,000 ($80), and more at $25,000 ($205 against $200) and $50,000 ($400 against $355).
Static drawdown worked through on a $100,000 account
Every program measures maximum drawdown from the initial balance, and the Terms state that it is static and does not trail upward with profits. On $100,000 the floors are fixed at $92,500 (7.5%, 1-Step), $91,000 (9%, 2-Step), $93,000 (7%, Instant Standard), $94,000 (6%, Instant Lite), $92,000 (8%, 1-Step Pro) and $90,000 (10%, 2-Step Pro).
The daily limit is 4% on 1-Step and 1-Step Pro, 4.5% on 2-Step, 5% on 2-Step Pro, 3.5% on Instant Standard and 3% on Instant Lite ($4,000 at 4% on a $100,000 day-start balance). The threshold is recalculated at 17:00:00 New York Time from the previous trading day's closing balance, with open equity and floating losses counted.
Progress is counted in Minimum Profitable Days: the 17:00 New York balance must exceed the previous close by at least 0.5% of the initial balance, $500 on $100,000. 1-Step and 1-Step Pro need 3, each 2-Step and 2-Step Pro phase needs 2, Instant Lite needs 5 and Instant Standard none. Three days at $500 total $1,500, so the $10,000 target on 1-Step sets the pace.
Floating drawdown and the five-strike ladder
Floating drawdown is the combined unrealised loss on open positions in one symbol, measured against the initial balance. The threshold is 1.5% on Instant accounts ($1,500 on $100,000) and 2.0% on Challenge and Pro accounts ($2,000). During an evaluation, reaching 2.0% triggers no alert, strike, reset or closure.
Outside an evaluation the rule escalates in steps. On Instant accounts the first confirmed breach is a Formal Warning; from the second, each event is one Strike and that cycle's reward is cut to 10%. On funded Challenge and Pro accounts the first confirmed breach is already a Strike. Five cumulative Strikes mean permanent closure, and Strike history is cleared when a Challenge or Pro account reaches funded status, provided five Strikes were not already reached.
More conditions are read per payout cycle. Scalping is identified when 40% or more of closed trades are held 120 seconds or less, or 20% or more of positive realised profit comes from them; crossing the thresholds at a reward request costs a Conditional Strike. Instant accounts add a single-trade condition (the best trade stays below 60% of the cycle's positive profit, so below $2,400 on a cycle with $4,000 of positive realised profit) and a high-frequency test of 30% of at least 10 trades held under 60 seconds, or five trades opened within 10 seconds.
What the Pro fee adds to Challenge terms
Pro costs more than the Challenge of the same shape: at $100,000, $914 against $580 on 1-Step ($334 more) and $744 against $555 on 2-Step ($189 more). Drawdown allowances are wider (8% against 7.5%, 10% against 9%), and leverage is up to 1:50 against 1:100.
The Pro split starts at 80% and rises to 100% after 30 funded days while Pro status is kept; Challenge-Funded reaches 95% through scaling. Pro also carries a salary of 1% of purchased capital per rolling 30 calendar days ($1,000 on $100,000), payable monthly. The trading symbols page lists the forex fee at $4 per lot on Pro against $5 on Challenge and Instant, and the Terms describe Pro execution costs as 25% lower than standard.
Pro conditions start on funded day 31: weekly trade count and instrument volume within +/-25% of earlier averages, and at least 5% of the initial balance in profit across each rolling 90 days ($5,000 on $100,000, counting rewards paid). A breach moves the account to the equivalent standard funded Challenge account and removes Pro benefits. One 7-day trading break per rolling 90 days can be scheduled with 72 hours' notice.
Reward requests: cycle, minimums, split in dollars and methods
On funded accounts the first reward request opens on demand once eligible simulated profits exist (Instant Lite asks for 5 Minimum Profitable Days first), then a 7-day cooldown applies, or 14 days on Instant Lite. Minimum requests: the lower of 1% of the initial balance or $100 on the 1-Step and 1-Step Pro funded stages, none on the 2-Step and 2-Step Pro funded stages, and 1% with no dollar cap on Instant ($1,000 on $100,000).
On $5,000 of eligible simulated profit the split pays $4,000 at 80% (Challenge-Funded, Pro), $3,750 at 75% (Instant Standard) and $3,500 at 70% (Instant Lite). Scaling, on a 90-day cycle with at least 50 trades, adds 30% to the balance per successful cycle and can lift the Challenge-Funded split to 95%, Standard to 90% and Lite to 85%, up to $680,000 per Challenge or Pro account and $340,000 per Instant account.
Methods are bank transfer, crypto (USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, SOL and more), Revolut, PayPal and the Finotive Pay wallet. The payouts page says Finotive Pay withdrawals are processed every Friday.
Terms first: rule precedence for a buyer
The Terms state that where a FAQ, help article, chatbot answer or marketing page disagrees with them, the Terms prevail, and that Section 7 prevails over every other explanation of the rules. Reading the Terms first, with plan cards and help articles as summaries, follows that order.
Two Terms points are worth knowing: moving to funded status is requested in the Dashboard and Finotive may review the account for compliance before granting it, and a Minimum Profitable Day is measured at 17:00 New York Time against the previous trading day's close.
Verdict
Finotive Funding fits a forex trader who wants a static drawdown on every program and a choice between three structures: a Challenge for the lowest fees of the six programs ($25 for $2,500, $555 for $100,000 on 2-Step), an Instant account with no target (Standard with no Minimum Profitable Days, Lite at $1,199 for $100,000), or Pro for an 80% to 100% split and a salary of 1% of purchased capital. It suits traders who run their own EAs, trade news without straddling and size positions inside the notional cap, and who read Section 7 of the Terms first.

Frequently asked questions
What is the maximum drawdown on Finotive Funding accounts?
It is static and measured from the initial balance: 7.5% on 1-Step, 9% on 2-Step, 7% on Instant Standard, 6% on Instant Lite, 8% on 1-Step Pro and 10% on 2-Step Pro. On $100,000 the floors run from $90,000 (2-Step Pro) to $94,000 (Instant Lite), and a daily or maximum breach closes the account at once.
How often can you request a reward on Finotive Funding?
The first request opens on demand once a funded account holds eligible simulated profits; Instant Lite needs 5 Minimum Profitable Days first. After the first approved reward the cooldown is 7 calendar days, or 14 on Instant Lite. Finotive Pay withdrawals are processed every Friday, according to the payouts page.
What profit split does Finotive Funding pay?
Challenge-Funded and Pro start at 80%, Instant Standard at 75% and Instant Lite at 70%. Scaling can lift Challenge-Funded to 95%, Standard to 90% and Lite to 85%, and Pro reaches 100% after 30 funded days while Pro status is kept. On $5,000 of eligible simulated profit, 80% pays $4,000 and 75% pays $3,750.
Does Finotive Funding allow news trading, EAs and scalping?
News trading is allowed when the trade reflects a genuine directional view, except straddled, offsetting or hedged exposure within 15 minutes before or after Red or Amber, earnings or geopolitical events where the aim is to capture volatility. EAs are allowed when you develop, own and control them, and copiers when they copy your own trades between your own accounts. Scalping is defined by thresholds in the Terms: 40% or more of closed trades in a payout cycle held 120 seconds or less, or 20% or more of positive realised profit from such trades. Crossing them while a reward is requested costs a Conditional Strike.
How does floating drawdown work at Finotive Funding?
It is the combined unrealised loss on open positions in one symbol, measured against the initial balance: 1.5% on Instant and 2.0% on funded Challenge and Pro accounts. A confirmed breach is a Strike with that cycle’s reward cut to 10%, except the first on Instant, which is a Formal Warning.
Is the Finotive Funding challenge fee refunded?
Challenge and Pro fees are refunded automatically to the original payment method when the account reaches funded status and is in net profit on day 30 after that, whether or not a reward was requested. For Instant Funding, the Terms allow a cancellation request within 14 calendar days of purchase if no trades have been placed, the Dashboard and platform have not been used beyond registration and account viewing, and KYC is complete.
