This policy explains what personal data PropFirm Experts processes when you visit propfirmexperts.com, why, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible
The data controller is Latai Kamal, publisher of PropFirm Experts. You can reach us at contact@propfirmexperts.com.
What we collect and why
- Server logs. When you load a page, our server records technical data: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We need it to deliver the site and to protect it against abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Login security. If someone tries to log in to the site’s admin area, we record the IP address of failed attempts to block brute-force attacks. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
- Emails you send us. If you write to us, we use your email address and message to reply. Legal basis: taking steps at your request, or our legitimate interest in answering questions (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we don’t build visitor profiles. Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so loading a page doesn’t send your data to font providers.
Links to prop firms
When you click a link to a prop firm, you leave our site. The firm may set its own cookies, including affiliate cookies that tell it you came from PropFirm Experts. Their privacy policies apply from that point. We don’t receive your personal data from these firms, only aggregated commission reports.
How long we keep data
We keep server and security logs only for a limited period, as long as needed to keep the site secure. We keep emails as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up.
Who processes data for us
Our hosting and email providers process data on our behalf to run the site and our mailbox. We don’t sell or rent personal data. If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Email contact@propfirmexperts.com and we’ll answer within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your EU country.
Changes
If we change how we process data, for example by adding analytics, we’ll update this page and its date before the change takes effect.
