PropShopTrader is a futures prop firm whose website is run by PropShopTrader OÜ, a company registered in Tartu, Estonia. Its current plans run on a system supplied by Prop Account: the Client Terms are issued by The Prop Account Group of Companies, and charges appear as dashboardanalytix.com. The site has a page for CFDs, but it's titled 'Coming Soon', and no forex or CFD plan is on sale.
Three futures plans are sold, each on Tickblaze or Rithmic: Pro Futures Assessment, Flex Futures Assessment, and Direct Futures, which has no assessment stage. All three list an end-of-day trailing drawdown, the same contract limits and a 90% profit split. The real differences are the daily loss cap, when the consistency rule applies, and how soon and how much you can withdraw.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Pro Futures Assessment has no daily loss cap at any size and needs only 1 trading day in the assessment.
- Every plan card lists an end-of-day trailing drawdown, so open profit during the session doesn't lift your floor.
- 90% profit split on every plan, with no limit on the number of payouts.
- Pro funded accounts can request a payout after 3 trading days, and the cap per request rises after the first payout.
- Direct Futures skips the assessment entirely: no profit target and no minimum trading days.
- Rules are identical on Tickblaze and Rithmic, and Direct costs the same on both.
Cons
- The Client Terms say Prohibited Trading ends your participation and may forfeit fees paid or money owed to you, at the Company's sole discretion. Your trading is also reviewed before any funded account is issued, and the firm can disallow any trader.
- The firm is moving to a new system: new and legacy accounts use different dashboards and support teams, and the FAQ doesn't cover purchases made between August 18 and September 7, 2026.
- Opening a position within 3 minutes before or after a News Event is prohibited, and the firm decides what counts as one.
- Official pages disagree on whether a funded daily loss cap breach is soft or hard, and billing terms, the activation fee and weekend holding aren't clearly published.
- Pro and Flex cost more on Rithmic than on Tickblaze for the same rules: $253.50 against $169 for a $50K Pro.

Trading restrictions and platforms
- News trading: Prohibited: 'Opening a position within 3 minutes before or after a News Event is prohibited' — positions may be closed with the P&L removed, leverage reduced, or the account breached; the Company determines what constitutes a News Event
- Weekend holding: Not stated by the firm
- EAs and bots: Client Terms: 'Using automated trading systems (EAs) or third-party trading strategies that facilitate copy trading is strictly prohibited'; copy trading permitted only if you own all accounts involved; third-party, off-the-shelf or 'pass the challenge' strategies prohibited. General (non-copy) EA use not explicitly addressed
- Platforms: Tickblaze, Rithmic
- Instruments: Futures (specific contracts not listed on the plans page — 'Tradable futures contracts and trading hours are shown inside the platform')
Who PropShopTrader suits
PropShopTrader fits futures traders who want a one-step assessment, an end-of-day drawdown and a 90% split from the first payout. Pro suits traders who don't want a daily loss cap and would like to pass quickly, since it requires just 1 trading day. Direct suits traders who'd rather pay more upfront than sit an assessment.
Forex and CFD traders have nothing to buy yet. Futures traders who want to check the contract list before paying won't find it on the plans page either, which says 'Tradable futures contracts and trading hours are shown inside the platform'.
News and automated traders should read the terms first. Opening a position within 3 minutes of a News Event is prohibited. The Client Terms ban EAs or third-party strategies that facilitate copy trading, and allow copy trading only between accounts you own. General EA use outside copy trading isn't explicitly addressed.
Traders from all countries except OFAC-listed ones are accepted. KYC and a Trader Agreement are required before funding, accounts are typically issued within 24 to 48 business hours, and your combined allocation across all accounts is capped at $1,000,000.
How the end-of-day drawdown and daily loss cap work
Every plan card lists an end-of-day trailing drawdown. The floor sits a fixed dollar amount below your highest closing balance and only moves once the trading day ends, so open profit during the session doesn't drag it up. On Pro and Flex, the drawdown is 4% on the $25K and $50K accounts and 3% on the $100K and $150K accounts.
Take a $50K Pro account with its $2,000 drawdown: you start at $50,000 with a floor at $48,000. A trade runs $1,500 into profit, you give it back and close flat, and the floor stays at $48,000, where an intraday trailing drawdown would have moved it to $49,500. If you instead close the day at $51,000, the floor rises to $49,000. A later close at $50,500 leaves it there, with $1,500 of room.
Flex and Direct add a daily loss cap above $25K. Flex caps a day at $1,250, $2,500 or $3,750 (2.5%), and Direct at $1,200, $2,100 or $3,000. On a $50K Flex that starts the day at $51,000 with a $49,000 floor, a $1,250 losing day hits the cap at $49,750, before the drawdown comes into play.
Two points aren't settled on the firm's own pages. The rules panel calls the funded daily loss cap a 'Static soft breach', where trades are closed and trading continues, while the homepage Program Rules say exceeding the daily loss limit 'is a hard breach'. The FAQ also says some plans trail a high-water mark until a defined point and then lock, without publishing that point. Ask support about both before you plan around them.
What PropShopTrader costs
The plan cards say 'One-time fee'. The FAQ, however, says billing terms, one-time or recurring, are 'stated on the plan before you confirm payment', so read that line before you pay.
Platform choice changes the price but not the rules. A $50K Pro costs $169 on Tickblaze and $253.50 on Rithmic, and a $50K Flex costs $139 against $219.62. Direct Futures costs the same on both platforms, $515 at $50K and $836 at $150K. At $50K, that's about three times the price of a Tickblaze Pro for the right to skip the assessment.
Neither the plan cards nor the rules panel state an activation fee. The table lists the regular prices, before any code. If you use the code shown above, the price it gives appears at checkout.
Payouts, buffers and profit split
Every plan pays 90%, allows an unlimited number of payouts and sets a $500 minimum request. Requests are reviewed before approval. Profit also has to clear a non-withdrawable buffer first: $1,100, $2,100, $3,100 or $4,600 on Pro and Flex by size, and $1,100, $2,100, $3,600 or $5,100 on Direct.
On a $50K account the buffer is $2,100. Add the $500 minimum and you need roughly $2,600 in profit before a first request. Pro lets you ask after 3 funded trading days, with a cap of $2,000 on the first payout at $50K and $2,500 after that.
Flex and Direct need 5 trading days. Flex also requires 5 funded days with at least $100, $150, $200 or $250 in profit each, by account size, and its cap per request never rises: $2,000 at $50K on every payout. Direct's cap rises from the fourth payout on the $50K, $100K and $150K accounts, to $2,500, $3,000 and $3,500.
The marketing site doesn't name payout methods. The Prop Account dashboard configuration lists Columis and Rise.
Review rights, the system change and other risks
The biggest risk sits in the Client Terms. They say that if the Company detects Prohibited Trading, 'your participation in the program will be terminated and may include forfeiture of any fees paid to the Company or owed to you by the Company, in the Company's sole discretion.' Amounts owed to you include payouts, so a flagged account can lose both its fee and its earnings.
Funding isn't automatic after a pass either. The Terms state that before any trader receives a funded account, their trading is reviewed by both the Company and the Broker, and a trader found to have engaged in Prohibited Trading 'shall not receive a funded account.' The homepage adds that the Company 'reserves the right to disallow any trader at its sole and absolute discretion.'
The firm is also mid-migration: its FAQ sends accounts bought after September 7, 2026 to a new dashboard and accounts bought before August 18, 2026 to the legacy login, each with its own support address. Purchases between those dates aren't addressed. The legacy page still advertises 'News, Algos, Copiers — Trade the news. Run your bots', which contradicts the current plans' news and copy-trading rules, so don't rely on older descriptions of the firm.
The news rule itself is strict. For a position opened within 3 minutes of a News Event, the firm can close it and remove the P&L, reduce leverage or breach the account, and it decides what counts as a News Event. An inactivity limit of 30 days is a hard breach, and the weekend holding rule isn't clearly published.
Pro, Flex or Direct: which plan fits
Pro is the simplest assessment: 1 trading day, no consistency rule and no daily loss cap. The catch arrives once funded, when a 40% consistency rule applies. In exchange you get the quickest payout path, at 3 trading days, and a cap that rises after the first payout.
Flex flips that structure. It has a 40% consistency rule and 3 minimum days in the assessment, then no consistency rule once funded. On Tickblaze it's cheaper than Pro at every size except $150K. You pay for it with a 2.5% daily loss cap above $25K, 5 qualifying profit days before payouts and a flat payout cap.
Direct suits traders who'd rather pay more than pass a test. It has no target and no minimum days, but a 20% consistency rule applies on the funded account, and its daily loss caps above $25K sit at 2.4%, 2.1% and 2%. Its drawdown is slightly wider than the assessments' at $100K and $150K, at $3,500 and $4,995.
Verdict
PropShopTrader suits futures traders who want a one-step assessment with an end-of-day drawdown and a 90% split, and Pro in particular fits those who want no daily loss cap and a payout after 3 funded trading days. It's a poor fit if you trade forex or CFDs, trade around news releases, or need clear billing, activation fee and weekend holding rules before you buy. Keep the firm's position in mind too: it's in the middle of a systems change, it reviews trading before issuing a funded account, and its Client Terms let it forfeit fees and money owed to you for Prohibited Trading at its sole discretion.

Frequently asked questions
Is PropShopTrader legit?
PropShopTrader OÜ is registered in Estonia (e-Business Register no. 16949893), and its plans run under Client Terms from The Prop Account Group of Companies, whose entities include Forest Park FX LTD in England and Prop Account LLC in Florida. On September 14, 2026, neither the firm nor its named entities appeared on the FCA or FINMA warning lists. Its Trustpilot page couldn’t be loaded, so its status there isn’t covered here.
Can PropShopTrader refuse a funded account or a payout?
Yes, under its own terms. The Client Terms say Prohibited Trading ends your participation and ‘may include forfeiture of any fees paid to the Company or owed to you by the Company, in the Company’s sole discretion’, which covers payouts owed to you. Trading is also reviewed by the Company and the Broker before a funded account is issued, and the homepage says the Company can disallow any trader ‘at its sole and absolute discretion.’ Payout requests are reviewed before approval.
Does PropShopTrader offer forex or CFD accounts?
Not at the moment. Its CFD page is titled ‘WHY CFDs (Coming Soon)’, and every plan on sale is a futures plan: Pro, Flex and Direct, on Tickblaze or Rithmic.
Does PropShopTrader have a daily loss limit?
It depends on the plan. Pro has no daily loss cap at any size. Flex caps a day at 2.5% on the $50K, $100K and $150K accounts, and Direct at $1,200, $2,100 and $3,000. The $25K Flex and $25K Direct have none. Official pages disagree on whether breaching the funded cap is a soft or a hard breach.
Can you trade news with PropShopTrader?
Only outside a window around each event. Opening a position within 3 minutes before or after a News Event is prohibited, and the firm decides what counts as a News Event. It can close the position and remove the P&L, reduce leverage or breach the account.
Is PropShopTrader a one-time fee?
The plan cards say ‘One-time fee’, from $79 for a $25K Flex on Tickblaze to $836 for a $150K Direct account. The FAQ adds that billing terms, one-time or recurring, are stated on the plan before you confirm payment, so check that at checkout. No activation fee is stated on the plan cards or the rules panel.
