Funded Futures Network (FFN) is a futures prop firm operated by Funded Futures Network LLC, with an address at 99 Wall Street in New York. On July 1, 2026 it retired Standard OG, Express OG and Express MAX. Two evaluations are on sale now: Standard MAX, billed monthly, and STEADY, a one-time purchase that replaced Express MAX.

Both run from $25K to $250K on a Rithmic data feed, with a license for Onyx or Quantower (FundX) included in the price. After passing, you trade a Sim-Funded account under per-account payout caps, and after 5 payouts the account can move toward Live-Funded, where the risk manager decides. FFN is day trading only, and several of its rules end with every profit in the account forfeited.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Accounts go up to $250K on both programs.
  • STEADY is a one-time fee with no daily loss limit, only 2 winning days required and 'No activation fee at any size'.
  • Standard MAX's daily loss limit is a soft breach: the session is locked and positions flattened, but the account isn't failed.
  • No payout fees on ACH, PayPal or bank wire, and Standard MAX Live-Funded accounts get daily same-day payouts with no maximum.
  • News trading is permitted in the evaluation, and automated trading of your own strategy is allowed at FFN's discretion.
  • An Onyx or Quantower (FundX) license comes with the price, and NinjaTrader works with your own license.

Cons

  • Several rules forfeit all profits in the account: more than 30% of a session's trades lasting 5 seconds or less, holding through a T1 news event after the evaluation, and closing your own accounts, funded ones included. Coordinated or third-party trading gets accounts terminated, with pending payouts forfeited or withheld and no warning. The HFT and news rules allow no appeal.
  • Sim-Funded payouts are capped at $1,000 to $3,500 per account and $10,000 per user per payout, and for accounts bought after the July 1, 2026 close, accumulated Sim-Funded profit is forfeited when the account moves to live.
  • Any account, funded ones included, with fewer than 3 qualifying trading days in a 29-day period is automatically cancelled without warning.
  • Official pages conflict on Standard MAX's activation fee and on the Sim-Funded profit split.
  • Day trading only: you must be flat by 4:50 PM EST and a position open at the close fails the account. Live-Funded accounts also pay a $126 monthly data fee per exchange.

Trading restrictions and platforms

  • News trading: Permitted in evaluation. T1 news (e.g. CPI, FOMC, NFP, GDP) prohibited in Exhibition, Sim-Funded and Live-Funded: must be flat 1 minute before, during and 1 minute after — violation = immediate liquidation and all profits forfeited
  • Weekend holding: Not allowed — day-trade only; flat by 4:50 PM EST daily and on Friday, reopen 6:00 PM EST (Sunday for the weekend); open positions at close = account failure
  • EAs and bots: 'Automated trading is allowed but at the discretion of FFN'; automation must execute the account holder's own strategy only. HFT rule: no more than 30% of trades in a session with round-trip at or under 5 seconds (account failed, profits forfeited, no appeal)
  • Platforms: Onyx, Quantower (FundX), EdgeProX, MotiveWave Mobile, NinjaTrader (own or third-party license; FFN does not provide NinjaTrader licenses)
  • Instruments: Equity indices: ES, NQ, YM, RTY, NKD, Micros: MES, MNQ, MYM, M2K, MCL, MGC, SIL, MBT, Interest rates: GE, ZT, ZF, ZN, ZB, UB, FX: 6A, 6B, 6C, 6E, 6J, 6N, Energies: CL, QM, MCL, NG, QG, HO, RB, Metals: GC, SI, HG, PL, PA, Agriculture and livestock: ZC, ZW, ZS, HE, LE, GF

Who Funded Futures Network suits

FFN suits intraday futures traders who close out every day and want room to grow into large accounts, up to $250K. STEADY fits traders who want a one-time fee and a quick pass, since it needs only 2 winning days. Standard MAX fits those who prefer a smaller first payment at most sizes and a daily loss limit that locks the session rather than failing the account.

It doesn't suit swing traders at all. You must be flat by 4:50 PM EST every day, Friday included, and an open position at the close fails the account. Trading reopens at 6:00 PM EST, or on Sunday after the weekend.

Fast scalpers and news traders need care too. If more than 30% of a session's trades round-trip in 5 seconds or less, the account fails. T1 releases such as CPI, FOMC, NFP and GDP can be traded in the evaluation but not afterwards, when you must be flat from 1 minute before to 1 minute after.

FFN lists 23 restricted countries, including Nigeria, Pakistan, Russia and Ukraine. You can hold up to 10 accounts, 5 of them funded at once, and copy trades across up to 5.

How the drawdown, daily loss limit and contract limits work

Both programs use an end-of-day (EOD) trailing drawdown in the evaluation. The floor follows your closing balance, so open profit during the session doesn't move it. Under an intraday trailing drawdown, a trade that runs up and comes back can raise your floor even if you close flat.

Take a $50K STEADY account with its $2,000 drawdown: you start at $50,000 with a floor at $48,000. Close day one at $51,000 and the floor moves to $49,000. Close later at $52,100 and it reaches $50,100, the starting balance plus $100, where it locks, in the evaluation and in Sim-Funded, however high your balance goes.

Standard MAX also uses an EOD trailing drawdown in the evaluation, then changes once funded: EOD until the buffer is built, then 'Static +$100'. It also has a daily loss limit of $1,000, $1,250, $2,500, $3,750 or $4,500 by size. Breaching it flattens your positions and locks the session but doesn't fail the account. On a $50K MAX that starts the day at $51,000 with a $49,000 floor, a $1,250 loss stops you at $49,750, still $750 above the floor.

Contract limits shrink after you pass. A $50K account allows 4 Minis in the evaluation, but a funded $50K starts at 2 Minis and scales to 3 and then 4 by profit tier. Increases need risk-manager approval and nothing scales automatically.

What Funded Futures Network really costs

Standard MAX is a monthly subscription: $160 a month at $50K and $590 at $250K. Three months on a $50K MAX add up to $480. STEADY is a one-time fee of $229 at $50K and $750 at $250K, so at $50K it costs less than two months of MAX.

Standard MAX's activation fee isn't clear. The help center says $120, which may be waived during promotions, while the pricing card says 'No activation fee after passing'. The website's How it works section also quotes a $120 activation fee and an 80/20 split, which doesn't match the STEADY article's 'No activation fee at any size' and 90/10 split. Until FFN aligns its pages, allow for a possible $120 charge on MAX.

Resets add up. A Standard MAX evaluation reset costs $100, and STEADY resets cost $114 to $620 by size ($180 at $50K). A one-time Sim-Funded reset on MAX costs $475 to $3,125 ($625 at $50K), and is available only before any payout.

Commissions are $2.49 per mini and $0.89 per micro per side, so one round trip on a mini costs $4.98. Live-Funded accounts also pay a professional data fee of $126 a month per exchange, deducted from the live account; Sim-Funded accounts don't, and the STEADY article lists funded data fees as 'Free'. The prices quoted here are list prices; if you use the code shown above, the price it gives appears at checkout.

Payouts, caps and the move to live

Standard MAX pays 80% in Sim-Funded and 90% in Live-Funded. You can request a same-day payout once the buffer is built, your balance is $500 or more above it and your consistency is 40% or below, measured as your best day against profit since the last payout.

STEADY pays 90% in both stages but only every 5 winning days per payout cycle. You must build a buffer equal to the drawdown ($2,000 at $50K), and your balance must stay above its post-payout level. After 5 Sim-Funded payouts, the account goes to live review.

Sim-Funded payouts are capped on both programs: $1,000 to $3,000 per account for payouts 1 to 3, and $1,200 to $3,500 from the fourth. At $50K that's $1,500, then $2,000. No user can take more than $10,000 in one payout across all accounts, and the minimum withdrawal is $500. On Standard MAX, Live-Funded removes the cap and allows daily same-day payouts.

The move to live has a catch. FFN's STEADY article states that for accounts bought after the July 1, 2026 market close, 'The trader's accumulated Sim-Funded profit is forfeited at the time the account is moved to live', and the move needs risk-manager approval. Profit not withdrawn from Sim-Funded by then is lost.

Forfeiture rules and other risks

Beyond the Sim-Funded payout caps and the forfeiture of Sim-Funded profit on the move to live, FFN's help center has several rules where the penalty is everything in the account. Under the HFT policy, if more than 30% of a session's trades have a round trip of 5 seconds or less, 'The account and all profits are forfeited immediately. There is no appeal process.' Holding a position through a T1 news event in Exhibition or a funded account means immediate liquidation, and 'ALL profits in the account are forfeited', again with no appeal.

Two more rules cover closing accounts and trading conduct. The FAQ says: 'If you choose to close your accounts, you will forfeit your profits on any accounts closed. This includes funded accounts.' Under the independent trading rules, coordinated or third-party trading gets accounts terminated, and 'Pending payouts are forfeited' or withheld, with no warnings issued.

Any account, funded included, with fewer than 3 qualifying trading days in a 29-day period is 'automatically cancelled', with no warning. Plan any break of a few weeks around that rule.

Hedging in opposite directions across products, including a mini against a micro, is also a broken rule. Two things remain unclear: the Terms & Refund Policy renders by JavaScript and couldn't be read, and a help center note says NYMEX, CBOT and COMEX products require contacting support, even though the product list includes contracts such as CL, GC and ZN.

Standard MAX or STEADY: which fits

STEADY suits traders who expect to pass quickly: a one-time fee, no daily loss limit, 2 winning days and a 90% split from the first Sim-Funded payout. The trade-offs are a 52% consistency rule in the evaluation, payouts only every 5 winning days, and a smaller drawdown than MAX at every size except $50K, where both allow $2,000.

Standard MAX costs less for the first month at every size except $100K, but it bills monthly, so a long evaluation gets expensive. It suits traders who value the soft-breach daily loss limit and same-day payouts, and who can accept an 80% Sim-Funded split, 5 winning days and a 40% consistency rule that, in the evaluation, raises your target rather than failing you.

Verdict

Funded Futures Network suits disciplined intraday futures traders who want large accounts, a choice between monthly and one-time billing, and a route to uncapped Live-Funded payouts. Pick STEADY if you expect to pass quickly, Standard MAX if you want a daily loss limit that locks the session instead of failing the account. It's a poor fit for swing traders, fast scalpers and anyone who may pause for a few weeks. Read the forfeiture, payout cap, move-to-live and inactivity rules before buying: several of them can wipe out profits or cancel an account without warning.

Frequently asked questions

Can Funded Futures Network forfeit your profits?

Yes, under several published rules. All profits are forfeited, with no appeal, if more than 30% of a session’s trades round-trip in 5 seconds or less, or if you hold through a T1 news event in Exhibition or a funded account. Closing your own accounts forfeits their profits, funded ones included, and coordinated or third-party trading gets accounts terminated, with pending payouts forfeited or withheld. For accounts bought after the July 1, 2026 close, accumulated Sim-Funded profit is forfeited on the move to live. Sim-Funded payouts are also capped at $1,000 to $3,500 per account and $10,000 per user per payout, and accounts with fewer than 3 qualifying trading days in 29 days are cancelled without warning.

Does Funded Futures Network charge an activation fee?

STEADY doesn’t: its article says ‘No activation fee at any size’. For Standard MAX, FFN’s pages conflict. The help center lists a $120 activation fee that may be waived during promotions, while the pricing card says ‘No activation fee after passing’.

Is Funded Futures Network a monthly subscription?

Standard MAX is, from $135 a month at $25K to $590 at $250K. STEADY is a one-time fee, from $149 at $25K to $750 at $250K. Live-Funded accounts also pay a $126 monthly data fee per exchange.

Can you hold positions overnight with Funded Futures Network?

No. FFN is day trading only. You must be flat by 4:50 PM EST every day, including Friday, and an open position at the close fails the account.

Can you trade news at Funded Futures Network?

In the evaluation, yes. In Exhibition, Sim-Funded and Live-Funded accounts, T1 news such as CPI, FOMC, NFP and GDP is off limits: you must be flat from 1 minute before to 1 minute after. A violation means immediate liquidation and forfeiture of all profits.

Is Funded Futures Network legit?

Funded Futures Network LLC gives an address at 99 Wall Street, New York. On September 14, 2026, it didn’t appear on the CFTC RED List or the FCA warning list, an NFA BASIC search found no entry for it, and its Trustpilot page showed no warning banner. Its help center does contain strict forfeiture rules, so read them before buying.
